Pet That Yeti - Southeastern Kentucky's Distinctive Rock Ensemble
Based in the heart of southeastern Kentucky, Pet That Yeti is a dynamic five-piece rock band with a compelling blend of experience and fresh energy. While officially established three years ago, the individual members bring a significant history of musical collaboration and performance to the project.
The band features the engaging vocal interplay of Olivia Miracle and John Russell (who also contributes on rhythm guitar), complemented by the expressive lead guitar work and backing vocals of Chris Smith, the foundational bass lines and harmonies of Zach Wright, and the solid rhythmic backbone provided by drummer Austin Thomas.
Influenced by a wide spectrum of iconic and contemporary artists, including Fleetwood Mac, Billie Eilish, The Allman Brothers Band, Chappell Roan, Paramore, Elton John, and Weezer, Pet That Yeti has forged a unique sonic identity. Their original music, which they describe as "alternative pop country rock," combines catchy melodies with rock instrumentation and a touch of regional flavor.
Pet That Yeti has built a local following through performances at respected venues such as the Bluegrass Barrel House, the Paddywagon Irish Pub, and Renfro Valley. The band offers a versatile four-hour cover set, adaptable to diverse audience preferences, alongside a vibrant 45-minute set of their original material.
With a commitment to delivering engaging live shows and a distinctive original sound, Pet That Yeti is actively seeking opportunities for both cover and original music performances, aiming to connect with a wider audience and share their unique brand of rock.
